Ingredients
  1. 2 -29 oz cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  2. 1½ Cup sugar
  3. ¾ Cups butter plus 2 Tablespoons
  4. ¼ Cup lemon juice
  5. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  6. 2 boxes Pillsbury unroll and fill pie crust
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Pour peaches into shallow 10x13 inch glass pan, and pour lemon juice over peaches. Add sugar and mix well.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon over top of mixture.
  4. Slice ¾ cups of butter into approximately 10 slices and place in dots over top of mixture.
  5. Unfold pie crust and place over top of peach mixture. Using a fork, poke holes across top of crust.
  6. Melt remaining butter and pour over top of crust.
  7. Bake until golden brown, approximately 45 minutes.
Notes
  1. This recipe is included in Travellin' Shoes, the first RJ Franklin series. I don't think I noted in the book that this recipe makes 2 pans. My friend BJ is accustomed to feeding a small army.
